hand-dyed Fabrics


Freezer paper is aMAzing stuff -- easy to cut, and with a thin layer of plastic on one side, which will melt when ironed onto fabric. After doing this, I can roll over the cutouts with thickened dye. Look here for more examples. I also have a piece done with a masking tape resist - exactly what it sounds like!

All fabric is 100% cotton, and dyed with fiber-reactive procion dyes.
