baby quilt, approximately 42"x 42"
Hand-dyed cotton fabrics, wool batting.
Front: whole cloth; Back: whole cloth; tied.
The front fabric of this quilt went through several processes. I used Sumac leaves as a resist for one of the layers, and Eucalyptus leaves for the banana shapes. Not sure how I got the orange spots on there, but they add to the visual richness of the fabric.
The fabric on the back of the quilt is a combination of mop-up with several layers of the "rubbing" technique, which is explained here.
